Edna in the letter is Bernard's Aunt and William's daughter and mother is Mary Belle "Kidd" Hinkle. A 61 year old letter. I have the original letter.As you can see letter was mailed from R# 3 Hamilton,Ohio to R# 2 Hamilton,Ohio. Must not had phones. Lester Dale Hinkle "Les" must had been on leave from service {World War II} and sent a letter to his Father William McClancy Hinkle "Bill" informing of a job at the Army Ordinance Depot. I have the original postcard. Notice $.1 cent postage and 61 years late April 2, 2004 is cost $.37 cent postage to mail a letter.
