Married Susannah Shafer/Shaffer, on December 7, 1807 in New Market Township, Highland County, Hillsboro, Ohio. Born July 10, 1878 in Hagertown, Maryland. Died July 3 1871 New Market Township, Highland County, Hillsboro, Ohio. Daughter of Andrew Sr. & Mary Martha (Stroup) Shafer/Shaffer
George & Susannah had 5 children they are as recorded Susannah, Catherine, Abraham, Sarah and Christina. Engraved inscription (?) on the headstone below.
