John J. Jones b. 1872 d. ? m. Mary Francis Lykins possibly in Morgan Co., Kentucky or in a nearby county, all census states race white not Indian, though down the generations "Cherokee Indian Blood" has been said, but no documentation on paper. A story that is told is that John and Mary's sons killed John for beating their mother. Fact or Fiction? Children of the couple: James Frances "Frank, My Great Grandfather; Cora Lou; Charlie; and Chester. Anyone with information on John and Mary please contact me. As of February 13, 2004 a person N.++++++++ email nmcm@charter.net has the correct surname of Mary Francis "Lykins" Jones and initial J for John Jones has census to prove his findings and YES no wonder relation has been having problems. Euna "Russell" Jones put the wrong surname {Sizemore} of Mary Francis "Lykins" Jones on the Death Certificate, anyone else please email me with corrections and additions PLEASE
