John Brown is the son of Henry Hinkle,John was the youngest son is was born 1812 in Tennessee and moved to Shelby,County Alabama as a young boy. The family moved east into Indian Territory prior to 1830. John married Louisa Sawyer in 1836, John died 1864. John is the Grandson of Anthony Jacob Hinkle III & Great Grandson of Anthony Jacob II Hinkle & Anna Margaret Whitthaus and GG Grandson of Rev. Anthony Jacob & Maria Elizabeth "Dentzer" Hinkle.
