William was born November 13, 1848 in Knox County, Kentucky and died September 22, 1889 in either Atchison or Nodaway County, Missouri, and was laid to rest in High Prairie Cemetery in Elmo, Missouri. Son of James & Sara "Sally" Fortney Corum. William married Sarah Catherine Horn on July 22, 1871 in Knox County, Kentucky. Sarah is the daughter of Thomas Horn & Permelia Hinkle and Granddaughter of William Hinkle & Susannah Treadway and GG Granddaughter of Michael "Micha" Jr. & Nancy "Haggins" Hinkle and GGG Granddaughter of Michael " Micha" Sr. & Rebecca "Spurgin" Hinkle and 4th GreatGgranddaughter Rev. Anthony Jacob II Hinkle & Anna Margaret Whitthaus and 5th Great Granddaughter of Rev. Anthony Jacob & Marie Elizabeth "Dentzer" Henckel/Hinkle.
