William was born November 13, 1848 in Knox County, Kentucky and died September 22, 1889 in either Atchison or Nodaway County, Missouri, and was laid to rest in High Prairie Cemetery in Elmo, Missouri. Son of James & Sara "Sally" Fortney Corum. William married Sarah Catherine Horn on July 22, 1871 in Knox County, Kentucky. Sarah is the Granddaughter of William Hinkle & Susannah Treadway and Great Granddaughter to Michael "Micha" Jr. Hinkle & Nancy Haggins and GG Granddaughter to Michael "Micha" Sr. Hinkle & Rebecca Spurgin and 3rd Great Granddaughter to Anthony Jacob II Hinkle & Anna Margaret Whitthaus and 4th Great Granddaughter to Rev.
