Married Elizabeth Hurst September 15, 1852 in Highland County, Ohio. Elizabeth was born 1829 in Highland County, Ohio and died in Ohio. Daughter of Abraham & Sally "Becker" Hurst. William's grandparents are George Fredrick & Prudence "UnKnown" Siders and Rezin & Eleanor "Fenner" Moberly.

William and Elizabeth's children Amos F. born July 2 1853 and died December 5, 1856 in Highland County,Ohio, Creighton born 1855, Highland County,Ohio and died in Hamilton County, Cincinnati,Ohio after 1844, Creighton came back to Ohio from Marshall County, Frankfort, Kansas after the death of his father William and resided in Cincinnati,Ohio and Clara Bell born September 22, 1862 and died April 22, 1892 in Highland County,Ohio and laid to rest at Sugartree Ridge Cemetery, in Sugartree Ridge, Highland County, Hillsboro,Ohio

Elizabeth was a imbecil Abraham Hurst Elizabeth's brother was appointed her guardian according to the Highland County, Ohio Probate Court Records #8749. Elizabeth had interest in land in Jackson Township, Highland County, Hillsboro,Ohio as inheriter of Lucritta Hurst, Her age was given as 65, Dated August 31 & September 8 1895. Her only heirs were as listed: Abraham Hurst and sister Sarah A. Milburn. Elizabeth was put into a Lunatic Assylum in Montgomery County, Dayton,Ohio

Family Folklore said that Elizabeth was always overly tedious about cleaning. She would repetedly sweep her yard. Her son Amos was burned when he fell? in water she was heating outside for laundry. When William and Creighton "Creiton" went to Kansas she and her daughter stayed with her father and mother{Abraham & Sally "Becker" Hurst}. Elsie Ayers said Creiton "Creighton" eventually returned to Ohio after the death of his father and settled in Cincinnati,Ohio
