Thomas Augustus Maxwell was born February 14, 1844 Adams County, Ohio near Belfast Highland County, Ohio parents at this time unknown. Died December 21, 1914. Thomas was 19 years of age when joined CO. E. 70th Regiment O.V.I., volunteered at Camp Homer in Adams County, West Union, Ohio, in 1863 was honorably discharged from service on January 14, 1864 at Scottsboro, Alabama. Thomas married Pheobe Roberds/Roberts September 1, 1868, Pheobe was born 1838 and died 1924. Thomas and Pheobe's daughter Mary Etta Maxwell, she married Joseph Albert Siders, son of John William and Drusilla "Clark" Siders. Please anyone knowing Thomas A.
