Catherine (Cailey) Brous, Born February 14, 1825, in New Market Township, Highland County, Ohio and Died in Eight Mile Daughery, Missouri. Daughter of George & Susanna (Shafer) Cailey. Married Lewis William Brous in 1843, Son of George Frederick & Mary Polly (Moberly) Brous and Grandson of Rezin & Eleanor Delilah (Fenner) Moberly. Born June 11, 1820 in Highland County, Ohio. Died March 12, 1876 in Eight Mile Daughery, Missiour. .
Lewis and Catherine's children are George Frederick, Sarah Ellen, John William, Cary Allen, Loutitia, Benjamin Franklin, James Riley, Paul Edwin, Samuel Lewis, Frances Emma, Thomas Hamer, Elizabeth Ann and Estella Delilah Brous.
