Son of George Frederick & Mary Polly (Moberly) Brous and Grandson of Rezin & Eleanor Delilah (Fenner) Moberly Married Catherine Cailey in 1843, Born February 14, 1825, in New Market Township, Highland County, Ohio and Died in Eight Mile Daughery, Missouri. Daughter of George & Susanna (Shafer) Cailey and Granddaughter of Rezin & Eleanor (Fenner) Moberly.
Lewis & Catherine's children are George Frederick, Sarah Ellen, John William, Cary Allen, Loutitia, Benjamin Franklin, James Riley, Paul Edwin, Samuel Lewis, Frances Emma, Thomas Hamer, Elizabeth Ann and Estella Delilah Brous.
