This 1950 Board of Education Plauqe is hanging on the wall next to where the princple's office was. Belfast School was closed January 2001 and the students all moved into a new school called "Bright Local Elmentary", Concord & Belfast Elementaries united as one. New school has grades pre-school thur 6th Grade. I am not very sure of the year date the new school opened but 2001 I thinks is the correct year, email me if you have the correct year. Bright Local Elementary is located on 6100 Fair Ridge Road, Concord Township, Highland County, Hillsboro, Ohio. Hugh Emery that is on the plaque in my sister-in-laws father. Huge passed away couple years ago , he was a very good man, very kind hearted. James Maxwell also on the plaque is James "Roger" Maxwell's father, Roger has started me on the History of the Belfast School me on 2 years ago and I have enjoyed the research on the history and making of the schools. Joseph Albert Siders 1st wife was Mary Etta Maxwell, Mary Etta died with complacation of delevering twin daughters, they also died couple weeks before Mary Etta passed away.
