One of the James Gardners (who owned property in Tyringham, Berkshire County, Massachusetts; specifically, near the border of the Lee township) donated his property to the Tyringham Shakers.  The property became rundown and was eventually burned (in the early 1970s) by the fire department because it was a hazard. The following chart shows census information for the Tyringham Shaker community from 1790 through 1870 (the community closed in 1875).
