Sauve Family Tree

The Sauve Family tree starts with Francois SAUVE and his wife Marie MALLERET married in France in 1650. They had at least one son Pierre SAUVÉ DIT LAPLANTE. Pierre came from France in 1680, the time of intensification of colonial rivalries and of the Iroquois threat, as a soldier of :Compagnies Franche de la Marine". In 1696 Pierre married Marie-Renée MICHEL/MICHAUD and together are the origin of most of the Sauve's in North America.
