8/01/2001 La liste de mariages  a un nouveau format et compte plus de 10,000 inscriptions. Chacune des pages sont regroupées par les trois premières lettres du nom de famille du conjoint de la personne "Larocque" en question.  Aussi, un lien vers la page contenant la génération antérieure est maintenant possible en se servant du lien inscrit dans le nom de la mère.
The marriage list has a new format and has more then 10,000 entries. Each pages are grouped by the first three letters spouses surname  of the Larocque person we are searching. Also, a link to the page containing the previous generation is now possible using the link in the mother's surname.

The mark of Philibert Couillaud and new documents that proves that Philibert Couillaud and Jacque de la Porte St-Georges were living in the Seigniory of Contrecoeur as early as 1670 and would contradict what Robert de Roquebrune wrote in "Testament of my Youth" when he says that Philibert met Catherine LaPorte in Montreal.

11/12/1998... Plusieurs Larocque ont pris le chemin des États-Unis pour y travailler et y faire carrière. On retrouves ces Larocque principalement dans les états frontaliers avec le Canada. Une carte des États-Unis indique où on les retrouve et la fréquence parmi la population.
Many Canadian Larocque immigrated to the United-States to work and start a new life. We find them mostly on bordering states with Canada. A map of the United States shows where we find them and the incidence in the population.
