Liste de mariages  / Marriage list
Pour commencer à trouver vos ancêtres, cherchez le nom de l’époux ou de l’épouse dans la liste en vous sevant de la première lettre de son nom de famille.  Il y a deux listes, une indexée par le nom des épouses et l'autre par celui des époux.  Si par exemple vous cherchez Lucile Daoust mariée à Henri Larocque, cliquez sur la lettre D (Daoust) de la liste des lettres des épouses, par ailleurs, si vous cherchez Angélina Larocque mariée à Richard Metcalfe cliquez sur la lettre M (Metcalfe) sur la liste lettres des maris. Si vous ne trouvez pas le nom voulu consultez la liste de noms alternatifs plus bas sur cette page. 
Un exemple du format de la page apparaît plus bas.
  1. Dans le haut de la page on trouve le numéro de cette famille et un bouton vous rammenant sur cette page. 
  2. Plus à gauche le nom du père et à droite celui de la mère 
  3. Sous leur nom, la date de naissance et de décès et l’endroit 
  4. Le nom des parents du couple avec liens. 
  5. Endroit et date du mariage 
  6. Liste des enfants avec liens si il y a union. Si un enfant a été marié plus d’une fois le numéro qui le précède sera répété. Il n’y a pas de liens pour les enfants non mariés. On peut trouver plus d’information si il y a une page supplémentaire pour cette famille

    Notez que la couleur de la bordure de la fiche reflète l’ancêtre. Voir le tableau juste au dessus de l’exemple. Dans le cas de l'exemple plus bas Joseph Larocque est un descendant de Philibert Couillaud dit Roquebrune. Une bordure grise signifie que le lien vers un des quatres ancêtres Larocque n’a pas été déterminé. Écrivez moi si vous pouvez établir ce lien.
To start searching the marriage list for your Larocque ancestors find the husband's name or the wife's name of the Larocque using the first letter of his or her family name. There are two lists, one Indexed by Wives and the other by Husbands. For example if you are looking for Mary Wilson married to John Larock, click on W (Wilson) of the women's first letter. If on the other hand you are looking for Mary Larock married to John Wilson click on the W of the men's first letter. If you can't find the name you are looking for you may want to look at an alternate name list below on this page. 
An example of the page format appears below.
  1. At the top of the page we have the Family number and a button bringing you back to this page.
  2. Below on the left the father’s name and on the right, the mother’s name.
  3. Under their name the date of their birth and death and place of the event.
  4. The name of their parents with a link to this family.
  5. Place and date of marriage or union.
  6. Children list with link to their family if married. If the child was married more then once the given number will appear more then once. There are no links to an unmarried child. Information on them could be found if there is a link to more information.

    Note that the colour of the border surrounding the Family file reflect the ancestor. See the table above the example. In the case of the example below, Joseph Larocque would be a descendant of Philibert Couillaud dit Roquebrune. A grey border means that we haven't link the father or the mother to one of the four main Larocque ancestors. If you can fill the blank let me know.
