Mark Womack, Tony Pope, and Dennis Lance at the Fletcher Cemetery. Dennis, on the right, is behind the gravestone of John Seyn Fletcher (1783-1870) and Mark (on the left) is behind the gravestone of John's second wife, Martha McBrayer Fletcher (b. Oct. 15, 1791; d. Mar. 16, 1855).

These are more graves from the Fletcher Cemetery where John Seyn Fletcher is buried in Fletcher, NC. One grave is supposed to be that of John's first wife, Elizabeth Savage and the other is supposed to be that of his 3rd wife, Susan Huff Harrison.

This is believed to be the resting spot of Peter Lentz (father of John Lentz/Lance?). I have that he died in 1808. His and other graves were moved into a mass grave. Descriptions of where this was done point to this spot. A large stone is propped up with smaller stones underneath giving it a leveled look. On top of the stone a large concrete pad about 3-4" thick makes a flat covering that was formed with even sides to match the shape of the large stone. It looks like a little park, but is actually an area used by a local home association. This is in Buncombe County, NC.
