Forrest Hoover Brown, age 81, of Maryville, Passed away Saturday, May 14, 2005, at the family home. Attended Third Street Baptist Church. Veteran of the US Army, having served during World War II. Preceded in death by wife, Bernice Brown. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Tony Farley of Walland; grandchildren, Danita and husband Frankie Burnette of Loudon, and Angela and husband Patrick Bailey of Greenback. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2005, for graveside service and interment, Rev. Steve Hickman officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Sunday, May 15, 2005, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and again Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
BROWN, DOROTHY BERNICE, 76, of Maryville died Monday morning, Jan. 19, at Blount Memorial Hospital.
She attended Third Street Baptist Church, Maryville.
Survivors include: husband, Forrest H. Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Tony Farley of Walland; grandchildren, Danita Gregory of Greenback, Angela McGill of Louisville.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eli Henry officiating. Interment to follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

GREENSBORO — Marshall Hoke Brown, 91, died March 14, 2002. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. March 23 at West Market Street United Methodist Church where he was a member.
Born in Lincoln County, he was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran and was a member of the choir at his church. He worked in interior design and furnishings at Meyers Department Store, Bridges Furniture, and Maxwell Furniture before retirement. He was also a charter member of the Couples class at his church. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Brown; one son, Marshall Brown Jr. of Greensboro; one daughter, Jeannette Davies of Greensboro; one sister, Margaret Dellinger of Lincolnton; two brothers, Winslow Brown and Cecil Brown, both of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Lisa Welch, and Sean Davies; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to West Market Street United Methodist Church Music Fund; or the American Heart Association.

Mr. Winslow Theodore Brown, age 90, of 967 West Highway 27, Lincolnton, N.C. died Thursday, January 11, 2007.
His funeral will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2007, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Brown was born March 15, 1916 in Lincoln County, son of the late Albert Pinkney and Mary Hoke Brown. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Ronald Brown. Mr. Brown retired from Burris Industries in 1981.
Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years Isabelle Wood Brown of the home; daughter, Linda Smith and husband Don of Vale, N.C.; two grandchildren, Myra Stallings and husband Seth and Chad Smith and wife Becky; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Camille, Callie Smith and Josh Stallings.

21 M ix. William Cecil BROWN was born on 27 Jan 1919 and died 9 Jun 2003, Lincoln Co, NC. He was first married to Connie Perkins. Connie and William divorced.
William Cecil Brown, 84, of 701 South Poplar Street, died June 9, 2003. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Burial followed with a DAV graveside service at Hollybrook Cemetery.
Born in Lincoln County, he was a funeral director at Warlick Funeral Home and was a WWII Army Veteran.
Survivors include two daughters, Bettina Gantt and Brenda Goins both of Lincolnton; one brother, Winslow Brown of Lincolnton; one sister, Margaret Dellinger of Lincolnton; one step-daughter, Linda Ashbrenner of Raleigh; one-step son, Kemp Huss of Bass; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Untied Methodist Church, 201 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Warlick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
