Catherine Pauline Propst Norwood, 78, of 1939 Prestige Drive, died March 15, 2002. A graveside service was held at 8 a.m. Saturday in Maiden City Cemetery. Born in Catawba County, she worked in the textile industry until retirement. Survivors include one son, Steve Norwood of Conover; four grandchildren, Tracy Norwood, Angela Buchanan, Jason Norwood, and Jennifer Norwood; and one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Burke Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
