Notes: White Co. History book states that a Martha Walters m. Abram Gossett in 1832. Six children, five living: John D., Lucy E. Thomas, Abram and Eliza. Abram b. 1791 in Tn. His father, John, a native of S.C. lived to be 104 years old and had 18 sons and 4 dau. all by one wife. 5
