Most biographies are from a lovely 2-volume set called
"Portrait and Biographical Record of the Willamette Valley"
published by The Chapman Publishing Company in 1903.
I have placed the complete index for this book on this webpage.
(copies are available for purchase from the folks at The Higginson Book Company)
