| Education Bill attended Garrison Rd. Public School in Fort Erie, ON and Bertie Senior Elementary School in Ridgeway, ON. Bill went on to attended Fort Erie Secondary School graduating in 1981 as a B+ student. While at FESS, Bill was a member of the Camera Club, Ski Club, Editor of the Yearbook and a member of Gamma Delta Psi Fraternity. |

| Work History Bill started working for Canadian National Railways in 1984 (a third generation Railroader). He started working for the railroad as a Car Inspector and in 1988 transferred to the Transportation Department. He has worked as a Brakeman, Yardman and Conductor and in 1992 he attended Locomotive Engineer's School at Gimli, Manitoba and was #1 in his class. Bill recently went on a course to give other employees computer training for a new reporting system that CN is implementing called OBRS (On-Board Reporting System). Bill is active in both of the trade unions he belongs to, the B of LE (Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers) and the UTU (United Transportation Union). |

| Career Achievements 16 years service and hopefully only another 14 years until pension. |

| Community Involvement Bill is on the Board of Trustees for Gamma Delta Psi Fraternity International (his High School Fraternity). He used to work for Rogers Cable 10 (Community Access TV) in Toronto doing some production work. He was also a volunteer firefighter for 5 years in the Fort Erie Fire Department from 1989-1994. |

| Interests and Hobbies Bill is an avid sports fan. He enjoys gardening, home renovation, current events and occasionally publishing a web page or two. |

| Genealogy Research Bill has just started researching his family lines (SCHMITT, GARDINER, STEWART, BINGLEMAN, HUMPHREY). Bill has been working with the London Cousins to see this project come to fruition. |
