| R. LORI TIMBERLAKE was born Aug 31, 1937 in
Pacoima, CA. She married PERCY MELTON8 LONDON (CHARLES ALLEN7,
DAVID BARTON6, ISAAC H.5, TRUMAN BEAMAN4, ISAAC3,
EDWARD2, JOHN1) Nov. 27, 1970 in Carmel, CA. He was
born November 30, 1935 in Rathmel, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. He died April
09, 1999 in Villa Rica, Carroll Co., GA. Since Percy passed away a year ago Lori has continued to be involved with the genealogy for his family. It is a wonderful hobby and she says she has adopted the whole family so it is a labor of love and a tribute to Percy. Percy was the 5th generation London to live in a small area in Jefferson Co. His branch of the family was involved in coal mining, lumbering, farming and the mercantile business. |

Transferred to Wilmington, DE. Retired as Senior Process Engineer for Stuart Pharmaceuticals, Division of ICI. Retired in 1987 and moved South. |

| Community Involvement Men's Golf Assn., Travel Club, Friendship Force, Community Volunteer for various groups including Property Control for his Community. Since his passing the Property Owners Assn. has named an annual volunteer award in Percy's name. |

| Interests and Hobbies Travel, golf, woodworking, music (played the organ) and old cars. He loved people and helping others. |

| Genealogy Research This was really wife Lori's project, Percy would smile and say, "that's nice dear", but he was very proud of being a London and a member of such a great family with roots back to Revolutionary times. Lori started collecting family stories and copying information from the trunk in the attic in the 80's. It wasn't until a visit to the Mormon Library in the early 90's that she spotted Edward & Sibilla London and started putting things together. Edwin Huff was the submitter of the information and she contacted him. He steered her to Jenny London and she has been actively 'collecting' London's ever since. |
