However, he would have been 57 years old and it is presumed he lied about his age so he could come to New Zealand
with his children and their families as the cut-off age was probably under 50 years to qualify to emigrate at that time

She died on 15 May 1871 at 5 Italian Walk, Vauxhall, Lambeth, England
Some researchers have her dying on 23 August 1916 but that is incorrect
