He died in 1954 in New Zealand

Herbert married Emily Jane JOHNSTONE, on 25 Nov 1895 in Bristol, England

They had the following children:

1. Herbert Manners GRINSTEAD (1897-1970)

2. Sidney James GRINSTEAD (1900-1994)

3. Ethel GRINSTEAD (1906-1975)
