Whitcomb, Asahel (b. ABT 1791, d. 21 Sep 1861)

Note: In the fall of 1837, moved his family to the wilderness (Township of Ray,Macomb Co., MI)

Enlisted in the Army during the War of 1812-13. He was enlisted atSacketts Harbor under Col Robinson and served nine months. When he gotout, he was a school teacher in his home town.
