Gintner, George (b. BEF 1726, d. 2 Sep 1749)
Note: Said to have fought in the Revolutionary war (from PA), but had changedthe spelling of his name to Kintner, so his family could never collecthis pension.

A George Kinter or Kintner was among the prisoners taken at Wyoming in1774. Another of the same name served in CPT Isaac Cooper's Company ofPA County Militia in 1778.

After the war, was said to have moved to Monroe Co., above the DelawareWater Gap. Some years later he was drowned in the Delaware while fishing.
Death: Monroe Co., Pennsylvania
Burial: 2 Sep 1749 arrived in Pa on the ship Albany
