The committee appointed to prepare a certificate for Jehu Thomas and family processed one which was read, approved, signed and directed to be recorded and forwarded . . . .11

Two Jehu Thomases (Sr. and Jr.) are listed in the 1810 Census for Harford Co., MD8 pp. 132, 148
1840 census, page 8, lists Jehu Thomas jr. age 50-60, wife age 50-60, sons ages 5-10, 10-15, 15-20 and daughters ages 10-15, 15-20, 15-20.13 If ages and birth dates are correct, the sons should be Nathan (1834), Abner (1829), and John (1822) Jahu Thomas age 66 and Susanna Thomas age 60 (?) with a son Nathan age 16 are in the 1850 census14, page 76.
