Nancy Mary Hatfield Notestine Tritch

Nancy was born about 1823 in Dayton Twp., Montgomery, Ohio to Thomas Hatfield and Elizabeth Archer,
the youngest of 3 children. As a young child her family moved to Little St. Joseph River, Allen, Indiana
where they lived until 1833 when they relocated to nearby Washington Twp., Allen, Indiana. At a young age,
about 16 years old, Nancy wed Jacob Notestine, Jr. on December 4, 1838. Jacob died about 8 years later,
in Feb. of 1847, leaving Nancy with five small children aged 1 to 6. Later that year, age 24, Nancy married
William Thomas Tritch on Nov. 27, 1847, with whom she had 5 more children, including my great grandfather,
Joseph Gear Tritch. After June of 1865, the family moved to Missouri, where they lived until at least 1880
where they are found in the census living in Fairview, Livingston, Missouri.
We don't yet know when Nancy died or where she is buried.
