Martha Stewart Cronister

Martha was born Feb. 8, 1828 in Ohio. Her father was born in NJ, and her mother in NY. Her mother's name may be
Lovina or Lucinda Wheeler. Martha married Casper Cronister in Adams county, IL on Feb. 5, 1846. Together they had
13 children while living in Illinois and Missouri. Left a widow at age 51, with the youngest child age 7, Martha
continued to live and raise the children in Fairview Twp., Livingston, MO. However by 1900 Martha moved to Pittsburg,
Crawford, KS, where she lived with her son John and his family, and her daughter Cornelia.
Martha lived to at least age 92, however we do not know when she died or where she is buried.
