Lucy Maude Miller Whitcomb

Lucy was born Feb. 26, 1884 in Bartley, Red Willow, Nebraska, to John Franklin Miller and
Mary Huldah Harrison, being the oldest of 3 children. On Dec. 10, 1904, age 20, Lucy married
James Edward Whitcomb in Friend, Saline, Nebraska. Together they had 4 children: 3 daughters
and one son. By 1921 the family relocated to California. James passed away in 1944 when Lucy
was 59. She lived almost to the age of 94, passing away in Long Beach, CA on Feb. 7, 1978.
