Ida May Minkler Robinson

Ida May was born July 18, 1860 in Pennsylvania, to Calvin A. Minkler and Louisa A. Wilber,
being the 2nd of 6 children. Her family moved from Pennsylvania to Iowa and then by 1872 to Nebraska,
where they were among the early settlers in Cedar Rapids, Boone county. There, Ida married John Robinson
on Nov. 24, 1881, when 21 years old. Together they had 6 children, plus adopted a 3 1/2 year old girl
to be a companion for their only daughter. The Robinson's moved to Oelrich, SD, and later to
Lake county, CA. Ida died Sept. 28, 1936 at the age of 76.
