Calvin L. Minkler

Calvin L. Minkler was born Aug. 27, 1828 in Silver Lake, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, to Johannes Minkler
and Betsey Doty, being the youngest of 12 children. May 1, 1859, age 30, he married Louisa A. Wilber,
and together they had 6 children. They moved around to various states including Wisconsin, Pennsylvania,
Iowa, and finally Nebraska, where Calvin died Sept. 8, 1873 in Cedar, Boone, Nebraska, at the age of 45.
He is buried in the Sunrise Cemetery in the same township.
