Davies Edward / James / Mary 1758 II: 47 Llanerddil (Llandenny): David Lewis of Llanishen, gent. by his will proved 1708, left Llanerddil to his daughter Mary, who married James Davies of Penbiddle. The latter made his will 6 January 1758, described as of Llanerthil and now of the town of Usk, gent., proved at Llandaff 13 April 1758. “The moiety of mess. and lands in Llangattock Lingoed, called Thomas John Richard's farm, late in the possession of William Thomas of the yearly value of 5l. now in mortgage to David Wilton of London, plasterer, by assignment from James Grundy of London, deceased, for the sum of three score and eleven pounds, to my brother Edward Davies of Chepstow and my son James Davies of the same.”

I: 298 A list drawn up in Llanvapley in 1711 of the names of persons "who us'd to serve or to find others to serve" various parish offices includes "John Robert, for a Tenement of William Prichard of Kellie", i.e. Upper Kathlea.

Watkins William 1769 I: 375 In his will dated 4 June 1769, proved 9 April 1770, Thomas Richards [Llanelen] left to his wife, among other things, "£17 1s the remainder of a debt from The Rev. Mr William Watkins for serving the curacies of Llanfihangel Crucorney and Llangattock Lingoed." His wife's will dated 2 Feb. 1773, proved 25 Mar. 1773, refers to the debt of £17 still unpaid.
