Died suddenly at home. He was one of the early pioneers in Frontier CO coming
to Stockville from IL with his parents in 1884. Was widely known & respected
thruout this territory. He bought a farm in 1898. He was married at home of
Wm. Hinton. (Curtis, NE The First 100 Years, F190, p. 211; Marriage
Certificates gives her name as "Lura" and his as George M. and his mothers
name as Sophia M. "Mangnes".
