Eura Elizabeth Finley was sister to Robert E. Finley and lived at the homestead where Robert Sears Finley and his son, Robert Asahel Finley (below) were born. Robert Sears Finley's mother was killed in 1899 when he was seven years old and his Aunt Eura, who never married raised him. Though technically she was Robert Asahel's great aunt, she was more like a grandmother.
