Dedicated to U.V. Waldrop

      U.V. Waldrop is a descendant of Adam Smith, and he has devoted a number of years to the research of the Smith and related families. Most of the information on Adam Smith has been provided by U.V. Because of his devotion to his research, which has been amplified by his willingness to share with others, we dedicated this site to U.V. Waldrop.

     U.V. is descended from Adam Smith on both sides of his family. U.V. was a long term employee for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He was transferred by them to a number of locations. He devoted his final five years with the company installing an inventory program for the Goodyear Services Stores for the parts they used in the repair of automobiles. He accepted an early retirement package and now lives in Germantown,Tennessee near Memphis.
