SEVENTY-FIRST ANNUAL REPORT
OF
THE NECROPOLIS, OR LOW HILL CEMETERY

TUESDAY, JANUARY 14TH, 1896.

 
     The Committee, in their Statement of the affairs of the NECROPOLIS for the past year, report that there is a balance of £195 19s 5d in the Treasurer's hands available for division, and annex his Statement of Accounts.
     At the Seventy-first Annual Meeting of the Proprietors of the Necropolis, Low Hill, held on Tuesday, the 14th January, 1896, William King, Esq, in the Chair.
     The Report from the Registrar and Treasurer's Statement of Accounts for the past year were read.
Resolved -
     1 - That the Treasurer's Statement of Accounts for 1895 be adopted, and that it be printed and circulated amongst the Proprietors.
     2 - That a dividend of 5s per Share, free of Income Tax, be paid to the Proprietors for the year 1895, and that it be payable on and after Friday, 25th January, 1896, at the Manchester and Liverpool District Bank.
     3 - That the REv Charles Green be re-appointed Chaplain.
     4 - That Mr Theo Van Gelder be re-appointed Registrar.
     5 - That Mr Thomas Hopkins be re-appointed Sexton.
     6 - The following Honorary Officers were elected for the ensuing year: - Chairman, William King, Esq. Auditors, W H Priestley, Esq and Wm Hope, Esq. Treasurer, H J Houghton, Esq.
     7 - That the following gentlemen compose the Committee for the current year, viz : -
