Holman migrated from Wales to Bermuda Islands between 1670 and 1690. Included three sons all born in Wales. Two sons (Solomon and John) were seized by a press gang and brought to Newburyport. There they succeeded in escaping the British ship. John, the younger, settled in NC.
Solomon settled in Newbury, married a Miss Mary Barton of Old York.
Edward Holman rec'd into Church 1731. Solomon, sen. of Newbury divided property he owned in Sutton among sons Edward, Thomas and Solomon June 6, 1732.
