NICHOLL, Lucy May - 75, Poirierville, Richmond County, died January 31, 1993
in St. Anne's Community and Nursing Care Centre, Arichat. Born in Poirierville,
she was a daughter of the late William and Annie (Doyle) Britten. She is
survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Faye (Mrs. Ronald Ridge), Kemptville,
Ont.; son, Douglas, Kemptville; five sisters, Muriel
Britten, Mable Martell, both of D'Escousse; Jeanette (Mrs. Norman Hearn),
Poirierville; Eileen (Mrs. Edward Landry), Arichat; Violet (Mrs. Henry Boudreau),
St. Anne's Centre; three brothers, Gerard, Martinique; Ambrose, D'Escousse;
Phillip, Poirierville; three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister,
Rose; brother, Harold. The body is in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat,
visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Hyacinth
Church, D'Escousse, Rev. J.J. MacDonald officiating. Burial will be at a
later date in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Hyacinth
Building Fund or Cemetery Fund.

NICKERSON, Irene Lillian - 73, Rocky Bay, died peacefully January 11, 2001,
at home. Born in Rocky Bay, she was a daughter of the late Allan and Grace
(Burge) Edwards. She was a member of the ACW at St. John Anglican Church
in Arichat. She was co-owner of Nickerson Mink Farm in Rocky Bay, along
with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Austin Elijah Nickerson,
Rocky Bay; stepdaughter, Trudy (Mrs. Fred Scott), Barrington; stepson, Perry
(Judy) Nickerson, Barrie, Ont.; sister, Greta Forest, Rocky Bay; stepgranddaughters,
Gina and Tammy; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers,
Stanley, Howard Edwards. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held
Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
A memorial service will be held from St. John Anglican Church in Arichat
on Monday morning 11 a.m. with Rev. Peter MacRae officiating, burial to follow
in St. John Anglican Church Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to
St. John Anglican Church
Cemetery Fund or to the charity of choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted
to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.

NOLAN, Patricia Matilda "Patsy" - 62, St. Peter's, passed away peacefully
Sunday, February 17, 2002, in Dartmouth General Hospital, Dartmouth, surrounded
by family and friends, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born
in Glace Bay, Patsy was a daughter of the late John and Jean (Doucette) Leforte.
In her younger years she worked at the Metropolitan Store in Glace Bay.
After her marriage she spent her time as a homemaker and was a devoted and
loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Peter's Parish
CWL and taught religious education for a number of years. She is survived
by her husband, James Patrick Nolan; daughters, Paula (Mrs. Morgan Snook),
Dartmouth; Lisa (Mrs. Andre Mombourquette), Lower Sackville; son, Michael
(Jennifer), Toronto; one very special grandson, Michael Snook. Also
surviving are sisters, Rita
(Mrs. Cyril White), Saute Ste. Marie, Ont.; Jeanette Hewey, London, Ont.;
Millie (Mrs. Wayne Barro), Mount Uniacke; Joan (Mrs. Sandy Crocker), Homeville,
C.B.; Gloria (Mrs. Ken Kilfoyle), Newmarket, Ont.; Carol ( Mrs. John Haley),
Sarnia, Ont.; Shirley Ann (Mrs. Frank Baker), Winnipeg, Man. Funeral mass
will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February22, in St. Peter'sRoman Catholic Church,
St. Peter's, Cape Breton with Father Duncan McIssac officiating. Donations
made be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care Society.

Loretta (Briand) Noseworthy passed away at the Center
University Hospital London, on Monday Nov 27 2006, she was 78 yrs old.
She was the wife of Bill Noseworthy,and mother of Brian and wife Lisa all of
London Ontario.
She was the daughter of Leo Briand and Mary Louise Boudreau (daughter of John F
Boudreau & Euginie Hebert , Boudreauville).
