| I did not begin actively searching beyond great-grandparents
until January 2000. Our son was assigned a family heritage project for school.
When he began asking questions about my paternal grandfather, the answers
were not adding up chronologically. I had heard all the stories, but
had not compared them side by side until then. That began what has been a
wonderful new hobby for me (though we still have not figured out the details
of that grandfather's immigration to the US). |
