| I married 1st, Michael Andrew Aldridge. We have a daughter,
Brooke Rene Melissa Aldridge. Brooke has a daughter called Oshia Kimberly
Pearson.
I married 2nd, Ephraim Muchada Gover. We have daughters Alexandra Shungudzo Meridith Mary Carita Govere and Saunsuray Airlia Evangeline Hali Bernadette Muchadi Govere. |
| I am descended from many of the Acadian settlers.
My grandparents are: Daniel Joseph Adam Landry (known as Adam) from Arichat and Adele Evangeline Samson (known as Eve) from Petit De Grat. Elizabeth Hanley from Boston and James Grahame Richards from ?? My Great grandparents are: Elizabeth Samson and Daniel Samson. Daniel Landry and Jane Boudreau. ? ? I don't know much about my father's side of the family. |

| I started getting interested in Genealogy as a child
because my mom always told me stories about my family history.

| I have had a number of careers. I write, I am a mother,
I was an assistant professor at the University of Zimbabwe where I tought
counseling classes. I have been a high school science and math teacher
and a wildlife biologist. Currently I am a PhD candidate and hope to start
teaching again in September.

| I am involved in a number of activities revolving around
for example children and womens rights, social advocacy, and African Counseling
Network.

| I am researching many names from Isle Madame. For example:
Landry, Forest, Samson, Boudrot, Fougere and LeBlanc. I am also interested in Mi'Kmag genealogy because I have been told by various family members that we are part Mi'Kmag. However, I have not been able to find a Mi'Kmag link yet. |
