My interest in genealogy got started at a family reunion in 1994. Gathered the recollections of family members and wrote them down. Purchased Reunion software and I was off and running. Searched the internet and found Ed Galvin and things took off from there. Most of my researching has be on the web and through the listserver, but have spent many hours at the Mormon FHL and when in RI, at the American-French Genealogical Society. Being able to interact with my cousins by email has really helped a great deal.

I am a Technical Marketing Manager for Motorola Semiconductor Products. We are making chips for digital televisions and set-top-boxes.
I am not yet retired, but you can be sure my hobbies will become more full-time.

I am especially interested in Jean-Baptiste LAUZON. The one remaining
ancestor to trace on my 5-generation chart. His origin is likely in Quebec,
but he is buried in Rhode Island.

I have traced my mother's line back through Isle Madame to France on all her
lines except KAVANAGH, which goes back to Ireland.
