Obituary of Joseph Britton Carvell
Joseph was my great-great-great grandfather. He was the father of at least 17 children by two different wifes. I descend thru his first wife, Rebecca Mark, and his second child, Rev. Jeremiah Mark Carvell, who is mentioned in the following article. His obituary was found in the Harrisburg Telegraph dated Monday evening, November 25, 1899.

UP THE JUNIATA
Joseph Carvell, farther (sic) of Rev. J.M. Carvell, of Harrisburg, died at his home at Thompsontown, Juniata county, last Wednesday, and was buried on Saturday. He was aged about 69 years.
