Frederick Auxer, Obituary

This is another distant Auxer Cousin!. His father was Frank Adam Auxer, of the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Auxers. My great-great-great-grandfather was Philip Kleiss Auxer, also a Lancaster County Auxer; and we all descend from the same progenitor, Christian Axer! The following is his obituary as it appeared in The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, Alabama, July, 22, 2000:

Frederick Auxer
SCOTTSBORO - Frederick Auxer, 64, of 2184 Holiday Shore Road died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be today at noon at Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville.
Burial will be in the Henryville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Auxer; two daughters, Susan Thompson of Tennessee and Sharon Atkins of Alabama; a brother, Robert Auxer; two sisters, Louise Rorapaguh of Florida and Elizabeth Green of California; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
