Elsa Bell Carr was the sister of my ex-husband's grandmother ~ or his mother's aunt. Although she was born in Ohio, she spent her retirement years in the Riverside, California area close to his family, until her death. Notice of her death appeared in The Press, Riverside, California, Wednesday, April 23, 1958, page B-5:
