MAY XXIII, MDGCCVII Man, I wish they hadn't used Roman Numerals! I hated them in school and I still hate them!!

This plot is sad. Elizabeth's headstone has been knocked off the base and rests on it's side about 2 feet away, leaning on her daughter's headstone. She rests with her husband, and 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law, a grand-daughter and her husband and a great-grand-daughter! Her parents rest on the other side of the cemetery in a plot that is much better taken care of. Perhaps since this plot is on the back of the cemetery, it is ignored ~ who knows? Her headstone, in Woodward Hill Cemetery in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, reads as follows:
ELIZABETH A.
WIFE OF JACOB AUXER
BORN IN LANCASTER PA
FELL ASLEEP FEBRUARY XIX
MDDGCLXXVII
