This plot in Lancaster Cemetery, right in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has a complete family group ~ almost!

Henry F. and his wife, Mary A. Diehl Auxer are buried in the front of this plot. Next to them, are three of their children who must have died in infancy. If there are names and dates, they have long been eaten away by the elements. The base that once held the 3 tiny stones simply says Children of Henry F. Auxer.

Behind the Auxers is their daughter, Annie Elizabeth and her husband, John Burkhart. Behind those two are Charles F. and his wife, Anna E. Walter Auxer.
