Harry was the great-grandson of Michael Auxer, Jr. Michael Auxer, Jr. is my fourth great-grandfather. Harry and his wife had three children, none of them living to see their first birthday. He was the Captain of the Ladder department of the Lancaster Fire company. He and his wife share a common headstone that lists their children's names. There is a small flat stone next to it that simply says Children of Harry A. and Elizabeth E. Auxer
