
This headstone is in Woodward Hill Cemetery in the heart of Lancaster City, Pennsylvania. Buried directly in front of their headstone is their daughter, Mary MacFarland.Sarah and my great-great-great-grandfather, Philip Kleiss Auxer, were second cousins; thus the relationship. The Albrights seemed to be the favorites of both her father and mother(s). They were named as executors on the wills and seemed to be favored in the distribution of the estates. Sarah was named as a daughter by both her mother and her step-mother, so she must have been special.
Their headstone is well maintained and seems almost to be a new one. Other relatives in this cemetery did not fare as well and seem to be in an area that is neglected and abused.
