A pretty, mid-summer wedding took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim H. Neiss in South Harrisburg (117 Dock Street) yesterday noon (Thursday, August 11, 1892), when Louis J. Houseal, a young tailor of this city and Miss Katie A. Neiss, the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neiss, were united in marriage. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H.D. Lehman, pastor of the Royalton United Brethren Church.
The bride was prettily attired in a wedding garment of cream albatoos and carried a bouquet of beautiful roses. The wedding march was performed by Miss Viola Demming.
Don C. Houseal, 14 N. 15th Street, Philadelphia, a brother of the groom and Miss Sadie Lehman of North Vineland, N.J. were best man and bridesmaid respectively and there were guests from North Vineland and Englewood, N.J., Maytown, Bainbridge, Lancaster, Mount Joy, Washington, D.C. and Middletown.
